As you start to walk down the path of building your Yoga business, you are going to need to start considering how to build your name recognition within the Yoga industry. While branding may sound like a cold business term, just look at at this way: Yoga Teacher Branding is what allows Yoga students to understand what is unique about you as a Yoga teacher. In essence, it’s your “flavor”. Just like ice-cream, all flavors are valid and tasty.

But the key component of branding yourself as a Yoga teacher is that it will allow you to quickly attract the right students that fit your flavor so that as you grow your business in whichever manner you choose, you will be able to offer your students something unique that others may not. Marketing Sucks!

I know many teachers in the yoga community loathe the idea of marketing. But when you strip away all of the noise that comes with it, you will quickly see that its just a way for you to communicate your message to your audience.

All you need to do is focus on your core message and find your authentic voice. Once you know what you want to convey, it becomes much easier for you to do so.

So as you begin to brand yourself as a Yoga teacher, just remember that you want to offer something to the Yoga community that is authentic and unique. Most importantly, you should be having fun and it should be exciting!
